Tension on Night Blue and Pearl Grey emerges from the encounter between two cool, deep chromatic fields, conceived to create a silent yet charged relationship. In the upper section, night blue envelops the space with an intense and compact presence, while the lower pearl grey introduces a lighter, rarefied, and suspended area.
Between these two levels, a hand-drawn circular gesture takes shape, crossed by vertical drips that interrupt the continuity of the movement. The line is never perfectly closed: it overlaps, oscillates, descends, and rises again, revealing the time of the action and its memory.
Tension here is not conflict, but unstable balance. A continuous dialogue between depth and lightness, between control and release, renewed with every gaze.
The work belongs to the Cycles series, an exploration of repeated gesture understood as a process of crossing and transformation over time.
